- Spent most of the season with Triple-A Colorado Springs, hitting .298 (67-for-225) with 32 runs scored and 30 RBI over 70 games.
- Recalled May 26 and appeared in 26 games with the Rockies before being optioned back to Triple-A July 30 ... recalled September 4 for the remainder of the season.
- Hit his second career pinch-homer June 17 at St. Louis with a solo shot off Jason Isringhausen.
- Batted a monthly best .320 (24-for-75) in 24 August games with Colorado Springs ... hit .363 (41-for-113) over 38 home contests.
- Named the Pacific Coast League Hitter of the Week for May 8, going 10-for-17 (.588) with three doubles, six RBI and a pair of home runs.
2005: Spent his first full season in the majors, batting .219 (52-for-237) with seven home runs and 27 RBI in 92 games with Colorado.
- Hit a three-run homer July 5 vs. the Dodgers, tying a career high with three RBI.
- Went 7-for-12 (.583) with two doubles, two triples, one home run and four RBI over four games, July 31-August 4.
- Hit his first career triple August 2 at San Francisco.
- Committed eight errors, tied for the highest total among Senior Circuit catchers.
2004: Made his major league debut June 30 as the Rockies starting catcher. Appeared in 36 games (29 starts) as catcher for the big league club, batting .319 (36-for-113).
- Was recalled by Colorado June 29. Collected his first major league hit in his debut June 30, a single off Milwaukee's Ben Sheets. Was optioned back to Colorado Springs following the game but returned August 10 for the remainder of the season.
- Batted .386 (17-for-44) in August, the highest of any major league rookie with at least 25 at-bats.
- Recorded a career-high seven-game hit streak, August 17-26, going 10for-22 (.455).
- Hit his first career home run with a two-run shot September 4 at San Diego off Dennis Tankersley, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
- Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Colorado Springs, batting .299 (89-for-298) with 53 runs, 19 doubles, 54 RBI and 41 walks over 83 games.
- Had a 12-game hit streak, June 25-July 20, hitting .348 (16-for-46) with three homers and eight RBI.
